Jon is not employed by a church or organisation. Since stepping out in faith into this full time ministry, financial support has come from various sources and individuals including his home church and OAC. He is registered self-employed and has to cover his own tax, insurance, travel and vehicle upkeep, equipment, training and accountancy. This support enables him to regularly take school assemblies, spend time on the creative process required for those visits and preparation and rehearsal for other events and road shows. Visiting schools free of charge to bring Christian education to the next generation is a big part of his day to day ministry. Whereas you may see Jon only within the event itself, it usually takes a full day’s work for Jon in travel, setting up and packing down.

All this is reflected in the fee to bring to you a quality presentation that shows Christianity in a positive light. This is appreciated by both people within the church, and also by those who do not regularly attend, making it an ideal outreach opportunity.

Please understand that there is a value in Jon’s profession and over 18 years experience of performing behind him. He still attends various training events to keep aware of new, relevant material and fresh ways of communicating a message and of engaging with an audience.

“The outreach day was a great success: Your professionalism, phenomenal hard work and superb entertainment played a major part in this: and you just kept smiling through.”

M. Sharpe; Nuneaton

Jon has felt it a privilege to be released to do this work and is continually seeking to add to his skills to ensure that the standard of his work remains at the quality you would expect from a professional dedicated to his art for the glory of God.
